In the Division 2, Accuracy controls how quickly your weapon reaches its maximum precision from hipfire to ADS (tightens its shot spread). Its effects vary by weapon type, but in general, when firing, your crosshair expands, making shots less precise. Higher Accuracy makes the crosshair shrink back faster, improving follow-up shot consistency (precision). It can be increased via weapon mods, gear talents, weapon handling, and brand/gear set bonuses.
ARs/SMGs/Pistols[]
Accuracy tightens the movement of the center dot in your crosshair, making shots land closer to where you aim. It helps control rapid fire by reducing bullet deviation.
Rifles/Marksman Rifles[]
Accuracy keeps shots tighter when spamming the trigger, and improves first-shot precision.
LMGs[]
Accuracy reduces the initial size of the box crosshair, meaning fewer wasted shots at the start of firing, and faster time to reach max accuracy.
Shotguns[]
Accuracy tightens pellet spread, increasing the chance of more pellets hitting the target.
