Backfire is an Exotic Submachine Gun in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.

It is an Exotic variant of the SIG MPX, featuring the Talent Payment in Kind. It was added to the game in Title Update 11.

This weapon can be obtained from enemies, weapon chests, Exotic Caches, and any area/mission with Submachine Guns as targeted loot.
