Trivia[]
- A 'baker's dozen' is an English phrase referring to a group of thirteen, rather than the usual twelve.
- The phrase likely originates from medieval bakers giving customers an additional piece of bread per dozen, in order to avoid potential legal penalties for selling undersized loaves.
- This item's name and flavor text are references to the video game series Brother in Arms, although Sgt. Matt Baker used M1 Garand, not M14.
- During Year 2, an exploit was discovered that made Baker's Dozen capable of inflicting more DPS than other weapons in the game. That exploit was fixed, which came with some controversy.
