My two favorite things are: cut and crossed wires, and electric fires. Luckily those two tend to go hand in hand. Let's spark it up, then burn it down.

Capacitor is an Exotic Assault Rifle in Tom Clancy's The Division 2. One per Account is given for completing 5 challenges in The Summit. Afterward, it can be acquired from any farmable drop source.

Gameplay[]

Capacitor works best for a skill damage build. Its secondary effect means that every two Skill Tiers ("Yellow Core") are the equivalent of a single Weapon Core ("Red Core"), allowing an agent with 6 Skill Tiers and only 2 or 3 Weapon Cores to maintain weapon damage on par with a more typical 6 Weapon Core build.

While possible to pair with any offensive skill, the Striker Drone has exceptional synergy with Capacitor, allowing the agent to duck into cover while their drone finishes off weakened targets. This helps to compensate for Capacitor's very small magazine.

Also, Capacitor is the only Assault Rifle in the game that features "Damage to Armor" as its second Primary Stat. All other Assault Rifles feature "Damage to Health" as their second Primary Stat. Combined with the above, a good strategy is to use Capacitor to strip armor off the target, then allow the Striker Drone to eliminate the unarmored target.
