“ The Chameleon is coated in a light-refracting technology designed by a DARPA research team. ”
Chameleon is an Exotic Assault Rifle in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
It is an Exotic Assault Rifle variant of the Vector SBR .45 ACP featuring the Talent Adaptive Instincts. It was added to the game in Title Update 7.
This weapon can obtained from enemies, weapon chests, Exotic Caches, and any area/mission with Assault Rifles as targeted loot. It has an increased drop chance from Named Bounty targets.
Usage[]
The Chameleon is an Assault Rifle that rewards Agents based on what body parts are hit. Starting out with a weak base damage value compared to other Assault Rifles, its value comes from the buffs it can receive to increase firepower. Agents should keep in mind that while the Chameleon is classified as an Assault Rifle, its range and accuracy stat is lacking and would not be suitable for mid-range engagements, making this weapon more akin to an SMG in terms of designed playstyle.
