Charles "Chunks" Crawford, ex-Navy, pure sadist. An engineer by trade, he has control issues and very little respect for the sanctity of human life.

Charles "Chunks" Crawford is a Black Tusk Operative and one of Stovepipe's four lieutenants in the Reign of Fire season.

History[]

Charles "Chunks" Crawford was a Navy "nuke" before being recruited by the Black Tusk. An ETN, Electronics Technician Nuclear Power, he was most comfortable tending to the reactor in a sub at the bottom of the ocean which frankly is where he should have stayed.

When he first joined the Navy, he earned the nickname "Chunks" because he would get violently seasick. He found that he could tolerate life on a sub better than a surface vessel and requested for a transfer to "nukes".

Nukes are notoriously the weirdos on the boat. Often plagued by people with a death wish or very little regard for their own personal safety and lives, many sailors are discharged before the end of their contractor due to stress or behavior unbecoming of an officer. For better or worse, "Chunks" considered himself the perfect "nuke".

After making his way to the Potomac in Washington D.C, Chunk's squad had morale trouble due to only eating MREs as food, so he gives a sitrep to Natalya Sokolova regarding the issue, which Sokolova suggested him to forage edibles in the wild rivers. Chunks and his squad found a small civilian community north of the city, which they occupied to use the community's farm to feed the troops.

At some point, Natalya Sokolova contacted Chunks regarding a hypothetical situation, like what would happen to a mortar operator if they used a launcher that previously housed a dirty bomb. Chunks answered with too many factors to consider, which Sokolova concluded that it wouldn't be instantly fatal. Chunks remarks that they're exposed to radiation every day and by the time anyone show symptoms of radiation poisoning, its too late. Chunks got curious and was wondering why Nat asked him, only for her to answer that she needs to be prepared for all kinds of scenarios. He suggested her that if she's worried about radiation at the Pentco Fairview Power Plant, she should take an iodine to protect her thyroid.

Later on, Chunks asked Sokolova about the rumors regarding Saint Louis. Natalya dismissed the rumors, though Chunks was more worried about radiation poisoning from Outcasts, which Nat suggested to get a Geiger Counter.

After taking out multiple Black Tusk outposts and strategic targets, The Division were able to locate "Chunks" at the Lincoln Memorial, where he was being guarded by heavy B.T.S.U. resistance, as well as a Hunter drone. Despite his efforts, Crawford would be gunned down by the agents.
