Biography[]
Tom Clancy's The Division: Hunted[]
When the Green Poison pandemic reached Washington, D.C. in the spring of 2016, Eric formed a cell with Brenda Wells, Rowan O'Shea and Leo Fourte. The team helped the Joint Task Force fight emerging hostile factions in D.C., including the Hyenas and Outcasts. Over time, Eric began to notice Rowan growing more violent and agitated as she witnessed the cruelty being committed amidst the outbreak, which he confided in Brenda.
His fears were realized when Rowan later went rogue, poisoning a camp of True Sons (and hundreds of neighboring civilians) with a weaponized sample of the Green Poison and killing two other Division agents sent after her.
Tom Clancy's The Division: Recruited[]
Eventually, it became evident food and supplies in the D.C. area would soon be depleted. Eric followed Brenda on an expedition westward, in an effort to assess the status of supply lines in the midwestern United States and arrange food shipments back east before winter arrived.
On the outskirts of D.C., Eric, Leo, Brenda, came upon the settlement of Athena, which was under siege by the Outcasts. Despite slowing their advance using IEDs, the defenders were nearly overwhelmed until the agents intervened. After wiping out the attackers, they were met by Maira Kanhai, Athena's head of security, who noticed a surviving Outcast suicide bomber barely in time.
Without hesitation, Eric charged into the Outcast, forcibly carrying them away from group before they could trigger their explosives. The resulting detonation killed them both, but saved his fellow agents from the blast radius.
Afterwards, they met with Jonah, the community's leader. Feeling guilty over Eric's death, Maira asked to accompany them, and Brenda accepted. When Leo objected, Brenda reminded him of their diminished manpower and the absence of Division reinforcements.
Legacy[]
At the Cumberland Gap, Rowan contacted Brenda's cell and mockingly asked about Eric's absence, surmising that he had died in an act of sacrifice. Leo coldly warned her not to speak his name.
Along with Rowan, Eric's death would haunt Brenda, and she would involuntarily recall the sight of their corpses when Leo or Maira were in mortal danger.
