Exotic Cache[]
The Exotic Cache is a container that rewards the player with one Exotic item upon opening. Exotic items are among the most powerful and unique gear pieces in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, making these caches highly desirable for endgame progression.
Acquisition Methods[]
Countdown[]
- The most reliable source of Exotic Caches.
- Can be purchased from the Countdown Requisition Station for 224
Countdown Requisition Tokens. - Players typically earn enough tokens for a cache every two successful Countdown runs on average, making this the fastest and most consistent method.
Missions & Incursions[]
- Completing certain main missions and Incursions on their highest difficulty settings will reward an Exotic Cache.
- These opportunities are less frequent than Countdown farming but remain a viable source for players tackling challenging PvE content.
Usage[]
- Each Exotic Cache contains one random Exotic item.
- Items are drawn from the general Exotic pool available at the time of opening, meaning seasonal or newly added Exotics may not appear until patched into the cache loot table.
