The FAL, FAL SA-58, FAL SA-58 Para, and the Named variant Goalie can be obtained from enemies, vendors, weapon chests, Sealed Caches, and any area/mission with Assault Rifles as targeted loot.
The Exotic variant Strega can be obtained from enemies, weapon chests, Exotic Caches, and any area/mission with Assault Rifles as targeted loot.
Replicas of the FAL SA-58 Para can be crafted using its 
Blueprint, which can be acquired from Projects, Summit Challenges, or Control Points of Alert Level 3 or higher.

The FAL is now fully automatic, unlike in Tom Clancy's The Division. It is used by various Civilian Militia, Underground Throwers, and Raider Assaults.
FAL SA-58[]
An FAL variant with synthetic furniture and side-folding stock, giving it higher Stability. It is used by Veteran/Elite Outcast Assaults.
