Haven is a civilian settlement formed by first responders (NYPD, NYFD) and civilian volunteers that serves as the new Base of Operations in Lower Manhattan in New York City, founded by the Paul Rhodes and the Peacekeepers before Keener's attack on the Base of Operations. Haven is located in the middle of Lower Manhattan. Inside, there's a sustainable farmhouse and clean water system to keep its residents fed and healthy.
Haven is open for all people who seek refuge in the New York City area, but is closed to Division agents and members of the JTF due to recent events. Most people in Haven believed that only death and chaos will come with The Division, rather than salvation. Survivors and residents of the city, as well as members of the NYPD and other emergency branches, make up the personnel of Haven.
Upgrades[]
Completing each area's Project in Lower Manhattan unlocks an upgrade for Haven, donated by an allied community. These are largely cosmetic, unless noted below.
- Animals - Civic Centre
- A number of cats will now reside in Haven, including one asleep behind the specialization desk. If the mechanical looms are also obtained, a cat will be asleep on top of one.
- 5-axis CNC Machine - Two Bridges
- A large CNC machine will now be located by the main entrance to Haven. No gameplay effect, but you can speak with the Peacekeeper operating it.
- Mechanical Loom - Financial District
- A pair of mechanical looms can be found in the atrium, with the room now decorated in freshly-made fabrics. Other areas of Haven are now carpeted with a number of rugs.
- 3D Printers - Battery Park
- A number of 3D printers can now be found by the entrance to Haven, opposite Paul Rhodes. Interacting with one will reward the player with Baby Root backpack trophy. Baby Root flowerpots can also be found around Haven, while abstract 3D ornaments now decorate the atrium.
