The Hive is an piece of SHD Technology which serves as a skill in Tom Clancy's The Division 2. The offensive version is called the ''Wasp Hive''. Latest from SHD Tech, the Hive uses micro bots technology for a variety of purposes.
Functionality
The Hive is a pod shaped device that contains micro bots which when launched can be used in different ways. Depending on the settings programmed into the individual Hive pods which are being deployed, the micro bots that are launched from it can
- Resuscitate a downed agent back to life.
- Attack hostiles within specific weak spots to maximize damage and defeat them.
- Deliver stimulants to an agent to enhance the agent's focus and combat prowess.
- Regenerate the armor of nearby agents.

- Micro-drones swarm hostile targets that enter their range, inflicting damage and targeting weak spots, destroying them efficiently.
- The micro-drones on the Stinger variant glow the iconic Division orange.

- Restorer
- When the Restorer detects missing armor on a friendly agent in its range, it deploys micro-repair drones towards the agent. On impact, an amount of armor is repaired.
- The micro-drones on the Restorer variant glow a bright green.

- When deployed, the Reviver Hive can revive allies within a specific radius on the ground. If any of your downed allies are within the range of your Reviver Hive, you can manually order a set of micro-drones to revive them. However, you can also press and hold the button to charge up the micro-drones. The longer you hold the button, the more health and armor your ally revives with.
- The micro-drones on the Reviver variant glow a very light shade of blue.
