“ Jason Barnes, callsign Titan. Former wildland smokejumper, activated during the second wave. Don't underestimate him. He's an eco-terrorist determined to wipe out humanity. ”
Jason Barnes, callsign Titan, was a former wildland smoke-jumper before being recruited into the Strategic Homeland Division during the activation of the second wave. Titan turned rogue and became an eco-terrorist following a severe smoke inhalation injury. He seeks to destroy humanity to preserve nature. He was working with Hornet, and in an undisclosed location in Washington, D.C.
Background[]
Jason Barnes spent 10 years as a firefighter before gaining a diploma in wildland fire science and training as a smoke-jumper. After seeing the destruction of nature, he became an outspoken environmentalist. Barnes was noticed by The Division after he survived for six days stuck in a wildland fire that took the lives of the rest of his unit.
Barnes was both recruited and activated during the second wave. He led various operations throughout the city parks to ensure the fires wouldn't spread. After being treated for a severe smoke inhalation injury, he was taken to a CERA hospital, where he was surrounded by victims of the Green Poison. Barnes subsequently renounced his position in the Division and joined the Rogue Cell, manipulated by Aaron Keener into believing that the Eclipse Virus could help further his goals of rebooting nature.
History[]
Unlike many other Division agents, Barnes was both recruited and activated at the same time, making him the only known agent that hadn't received formal SHD training. Barnes was recruited as the situation become dire in New York City.
During his duty as a Division agent, Barnes was injured by inhaling too much smoke. He was rescued and brought to a nearby field hospital, where he saw the catastrophic damage done by the Green Poison. Instead of being more motivated to do his duty, Barnes was convinced that humanity should let the virus run its course, citing humans are the problem. Although Barnes was injured, he insists on leaving the hospital. A nurse tried to stop him, but Barnes was too determined that he ignored his pain and the nurse's protest.
Not long after, Barnes made a manifesto, citing his beliefs as an eco-terrorist. Rogue Division agent Aaron Keener heard his manifesto and sought out Barnes with the intent to recruit him as one of his rogue agents. Despite their cause being different, their intending methods to do it are quite similar. Keener cited that humanity should be taught a lesson to prevent going back into the old ways of society. Barnes agreed with that and joined his team
After Keener's death, Barnes went into Carter Leroux's team of rogue agents. The team went to Washington, D.C. to recruit Outcasts for their cause. A Division agent traced down Barnes and took him out.

Titan was a Rogue Agent armed with a Custom P416 G3, Navy MP5-N, Incinerator Turrets and Eclipse Virus Grenades.
