The Division Wiki
To paraphrase my favorite quote 'death is in the details'. Or at least I've always found it to be.
- John "Architect" Figgs

John "Architect" Figgs is a Black Tusk operative and the first named boss encountered during The Pentagon mission. He was killed when The Division arrived at the Pentagon and destroyed the drill breaching into the DARPA Labs.

History[]

Deployed alongside Petrus Brenner, Ben "Mega" Reinhold, and DeShawn "Echo Leader" Griffin, Figgs was tasked with overseeing the deployment and security of the drill breaching into the DARPA labs as part of the Black Tusk's plans to gain control of a prototype Perfusion Bioreactor which could be used to develop Broad Spectrum Anti-Virals used to cure viral diseases, most notably Green Poison.

Figgs gave updates to Brenner on the deployment of the drill's supports. When Brenner questioned if the drill would be big enough to pull out the bioreactor, Figgs assured Brenner that it should be, but noted enthusiastically that if it wasn't, he wouldn't be opposed to using explosives. However, Brenner vehemently denied Figgs, stating that he didn't need him breaking what they came here for because he loved blowing shit up.

Later, Figgs and Brenner discovered a SHD prototype lab, and Figgs began to jokingly mess around with the seeker mines. Brenner berated Figgs that he should put it down, as he didn't need him to activate a failsafe on the mine and blowing everyone up. When Figgs questioned if that was even possible, Brenner admitted he didn't know, as he wasn't a Division agent.

When The Division breached into the Pentagon, destroying the drill the Black Tusk forces had been using, Figgs relayed to Brenner that the drill was out of commission. Brenner instructed Figgs to redirect all available units to eliminate the agents. Despite putting up a tough fight, Figgs was killed by the agents.
