“ Please, sir. I didn't sign up for this kinda tedious babysitting shit. I signed up for the murder and the mayhem. This manager-guy is the most annoying person I've ever met in my life - and you're saying I can't kill him? - Keiko Nakama, complaining to her superior over her duties as The Manager's bodyguard”
Keiko Nakama was an operative of the Black Tusk Specialist Unit (BTSU) who was in charge of Black Tusk's supply depot in the Potomac Event Center, as well as in charge of safeguarding Black Tusk/Sokolov Concern's Logistics Manager.
She's encountered as the final boss in Potomac Event Center: The Manager.
History[]
Not much is known about Keiko Nakama's past history, save for the fact that she was recruited to the Black Tusk at some point, and became an operative for the PMC's Specialist Unit. At one point, Nakama was put in charge of the supply depot established in the Potomac Event Center, where she was ordered to be the bodyguard for "The Manager", as he was an important asset in Sokolov Concern/Black Tusk.
Her relationship with "The Manager" was unrequited. She found his friendly personality, his cat-sweaters, and his love for his cat very insufferable, to the point that she wanted to kill them both and dump them in the Potomac. However, she had her orders, and that meant keeping the Manager safe, even when it annoyed her that she's the only friend he got in his world.
At some point, she vented her frustrations about "The Manager" and his cat, where she decided once she's done with her assignment, she can kill them both covertly.
Against the Division[]
When the Division assaulted the supply depot, Nakama was prepared for their arrival, sending waves of Black Tusk soldiers to stall them, including decoys using her likeness laced with traps. As she was escorting "The Manager" to the pier, the agents took over a SAM launcher, destroying the extraction helo, forcing her to get the Manager inside the Center.
Nakama sent further Black Tusk personnel, including an advanced Warhound codenamed HOUND with its fellow Warhounds on its side, to stop the agents. But even that didn't stop them, as HOUND was destroyed, and made their way inside.
Nakama then sent "The Manager" to the panic room in the Concert Hall, ready to confront the agents. The confrontation was prolonged, given her reinforcements as well as the Sokolov Concern crate, deploying the decoys to force them into the open. But eventually, she was killed, leaving the agents to secure "The Manager" and sent him for extraction.
Abilities[]
In-game, Keiko is a unique Black Tusk Sniper armed with an SRS A1 Marksman Rifle, ACS-12 Shotgun, White Phosphorus Grenades and special Decoy Traps with Shock, Riot Foam and Explosive variants. After taking damage at specific health intervals, she can also disappear in a cloud of smoke during her fight, much like the Hunters.
Trivia[]
