Linette Edwards, callsign Dusk, was one of Bardon Schaeffer's four lieutenants in the Concealed Agenda season.
Biography[]
Linette Edwards is a third generation Marine. She was recruited into The Division based on a recommendation from her father while serving her first tour of duty. She is a career military woman. When it was activated in Washington, D.C., she realized that the institution had been destroyed and found that it aligned more with the True Sons philosophy than with The Division. She went rogue and joined the True Sons and agreed to work with Bardon Schaeffer and Black Tusk.
History[]
Edwards turned rogue and joined the True Sons. After their leader, Antwon Ridgeway's death, she led a group of True Sons loyalists, two of whom were Major Castillo and Sergeant Daniels. However, they were severely short on resources. Edwards then used her connection to the Black Tusk to request for more resources, including food, water, guns, explosives, and bullets. Schaeffer agreed her request and tell her to send her men to a designated location to retrieve the supplies in two hours.
Sometime later, Edwards called Schaeffer for a meeting as she would like to know who's she working with in person, Schaeffer apparently accepted her request.
Edwards was tracked down later by a Division agent during the hunt for Schaeffer, and killed.
Legacy[]
The fallout of her death was the catalyst for the True Sons to dissolve their alliance with the Black Tusk. Some of the people she interacted with, including Sergeant Daniels and Lieutenant Chang expressed angry at her death and blame Black Tusk for it. Bardon even told Chang that Dusk was ‘hunted’ during a social call between them.
Abilities[]
In-game, Dusk was a Rogue Agent armed with a True Sons immobilizer M4, Tactical UMP-45, Riot Foam Chem-Launcher, Explosive Seeker-Mines and Riot Foam grenades.
Trivia[]
- Despite never being seen using it in-game, Dusk is depicted as being equipped with a Vector SBR 9mm both in her character artwork and in-game briefing cutscene.
