“ Lori Baker, callsign Termite. Former field surgeon. After the quarantine, she murdered a group of infected patients inside a CERA hospital. She believes eradicating the weak is the only way to gain control. ”
Lori "Termite" Baker, callsign Termite, was one of four lieutenants of Carter "Hornet" Leroux in the Keener's Legacy season.
Biography[]
Lori was trained as a U.S. Army surgeon and participated in many military campaigns overseas. Her military career ended after she was dismissed for ignoring orders to retreat during an offensive against a terrorist base in southern Afghanistan, instead choosing to stay with a group of wounded soldiers instead.
The Division was impressed by her independence and ability to make difficult decisions in areas of conflict, deciding to recruit her as an agent, who was then activated as part of the First Wave in New York. However, after witnessing the effects of Green Poison in person, she began to lose confidence in The Division's goal, believing that the only way to control the spread was to eliminate the sick and dying.
Baker disavowed The Division and the U.S. government after the Cleaners attacked a CERA hospital she was tasked with defending. Instead of attempting to hold off the attack, Termite instead killed multiple Division agents and JTF personnel on site, allowing for the defensive line to be broken and for all the patients and staff in the hospital to be killed by the Cleaners.
History[]
Baker was activated and her job was to secure a quarantine center set up by the government. After seeing the chaos of the situation and how many people have been infected, she grew the idea that the weak should be eradicated to save the resources for the others.
Baker argued with a nurse working at the quarantine center, trying to persuade her to abandon the weak. However, due to the nurse's moral standards, she refused. Rogue Division agent Aaron Keener saw this as an opportunity to recruit a valuable asset that is valuable to his cause. He reached out to Baker, saying his goal is to eradicate the weak as well. Baker gladly accepted Keener's proposal, and become one of his rogue agents.
After the conflict at the Russian Consulate, Keener dragged the wounded Leroux to Baker. Seeing his condition, Baker concurred that Keener was better off leaving him to die. Keener however insisted that Baker save him as he was one of Keener’s oldest friends. Baker reluctantly agreed and in the end successfully nursed Leroux back to health.
During Keener's attack on Lower Manhattan, he assigned Leroux to Washington, D.C. to recruit Outcasts for their cause. Baker was one of the rogue agents that Leroux brought with him to Washington, D.C.
After Keener's death, it was revealed to The Division that Leroux survived the conflict in the Russian Consulate and has four most loyal rogue agents along with him to recruit Outcasts for Keener's Legacy. One Division agent tracked down Baker in Washington, D.C. by collecting intel from enemies fortified locations in the city. When Baker's location was finally revealed, the agent put Baker down and brought an end to her radical ideals.
