Lucy Anders, callsign Venus. She has been stealing critical supply drops for months. Excellent Sharpshooter.

Lucy Anders, callsign Venus, is a lieutenant of Molly "Jupiter" Henderson in the Shadow Tide Season.

Biography[]

Lucy Anders became active as part of The Division's First Wave, and her status changed to rogue after she left the mission for more than six weeks. Investigations into her activities have revealed that she established her own safe house and directly undermined the Joint Task Force's work by claiming critical drops in supplies destined for JTF Base of Operations. Andes was tied to a violent incident where three Division officers located her to retrieve the stolen supplies. Two of the Division agents died by her hand. The third officer was seriously injured, but managed to record an eyewitness account of the incident.

History[]

While they were getting ready to for their plan, Lucy Anders expressed her concerns about the Cleaners to Molly Henderson, seeing them as fanatics. Jupiter assured her that they're no fanatics, they're just dedicated to their mission. Later on, Anders faced problems gaining the respect of the Cleaners, including one of their leaders, Barkley. Henderson implored her to find some way to gain respect from him.

However, instead of gaining Barkley's respect, Venus shot him dead as he was reaching an axe towards her. This angered Jupiter as she told Venus that the Cleaners are now following her out of fear instead of respect.

After Anders arrived in Washington, D.C., she made an alliance with the Hyenas in Northeastern D.C., capturing multiple sites of value in Downtown East, Federal Triangle, and Judiciary Square. With Henderson's Rogue Cell out in the open thanks to the activation of Keener's Rogue Network, Division agents made their moves against the cell. Just like what they did with Neptune, they secured the areas that Venus and her allies took over.

An agent hunted down Anders by killing her Cleaners reinforcements, and the agent finally located Anders in Downtown East. She put up a fight against the agents, but lost and died in the process.

Abilities[]

In-game, Lucy was a Rogue Agent armed with an Infantry MG5, Tactical AUG A3P, Blinder Fireflies, Mender Seeker-Mines and Incendiary Grenades.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being described as an "Excellent sharpshooter" by Agent Kelso and a "Marksman Class" Agent, Venus is equipped with a Light Machine Gun instead of a Marksman Rifle when faced in-game.
  • Despite never being seen using them in-game, Venus can be seen holding a Lightweight M4 in her character artwork, as well as a Custom M44 in the in-game briefing cutscene.
