The M249 B is a Light Machine Gun in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
The M249 B, Tactical M249 Para, and Military MK46 variants can be obtained from enemies, vendors, weapon chests, Sealed Caches, and any area/mission with Light Machine Guns as targeted loot.
The Named variant Black Friday can only be extracted from Dark Zones, purchased from Dark Zone Vendors using 
DZ Resources, purchased from the Countdown Requisitions Station using 
Countdown Requisition Tokens, or obtained from Conflict/Legacy/Named Item Caches.
The Named variant The Stinger is only available to Invitees via Tom Clancy The Division 2's Friend Referral Program, after which it can be crafted using its 
Blueprint.
The Exotic variant Pestilence can be obtained from enemies, weapon chests, Exotic Caches, and any area/mission with Light Machine Guns as targeted loot. It has an increased drop chance from Named enemies in Dark Zones.
Replicas of the Military Mk46 can be crafted using its Blueprint, which can be acquired from Projects, Summit Challenges, or Control Points of Alert Level 3 or higher.
Replicas of the Named variant Black Friday can be crafted using its Blueprint, which can only be obtained from Reconstructed Caches purchased with 
NSA Tech from NSA Stations.

Usage[]
Like in the previous game, the M249 is a high-damage, low rate of fire belt-fed weapon. Compared to the other belt-fed LMGs, the M249 deals more damage than the MG5 and magazine-fed LMGs, but less than the M60.
While it has high-damage, it suffers from poor stability, which results in swaying recoil when firing.

The M249 B combines the rapid fire of a machine gun with the accuracy and portability of an assault rifle. It is used by various Civilian Militia.
Tactical M249 Para[]
A compact M249 B variant, designed for use during aerial deployments. It features a pivoting collapsible stock and added handguard for higher Stability.
Military Mk46

An upgraded M249 B variant with a telescoping stock, alternate rail forearm, and more Stability.
