The Classic M44 Carbine, Hunting M44, Custom M44, and the Named Variant The White Death can be obtained from enemies, vendors, weapon chests, Sealed Caches, and any area/mission with Marksman Rifles as targeted loot.
The Named variant Oh Carol can be obtained from Ambusher Hoarders during limited-time holiday events.
Replicas of the Classic M44 Carbine can be crafted using its 
Blueprint, which is available by default.
Replicas of the Custom M44 can be crafted using its Blueprint, which can be acquired from Projects, Summit Challenges, or Control Points of Alert Level 3 or higher.
Replicas of the Named variant The White Death can be crafted using its Blueprint, which can only be obtained from Reconstructed Caches purchased with 
NSA Tech from NSA Stations.

Classic M44 Carbine

The base M44 lacks all the amenities of modern weaponry, but is still unmatched in ranged lethality. It is used by Normal Cleaners Snipers.
Hunting M44[]
An updated M44 variant with polymer furniture, it has higher Stability and additional attachment slots at the cost of lower damage and Accuracy.
Custom M44 []
A magazine-fed M44 variant fitted with additional attachment slots and higher Stability, but deals lower damage. It is used by generic Rogue Agents and Skyler "Belfry" Williams.
The White Death []
