He ended up finding a new home with the Black Tusk, where his raw strength and fearless aggression made him the perfect candidate to test bulky, experimental tech.

Operation Dark Hours[]
Bailey was deployed to the Black Tusk-occupied Washington National Airport when it was attacked by the Strategic Homeland Division. Inside the airport terminal, he faced the incoming Division agents while wearing an armored suit that featured a powered battering ram, allowing him to swing his minigun with nearly fifty tons of impact force; a bleeding-edge defense unit that protected him from virtually all forms of damage; and a self-repair module that released healing nanites when activated. However, his short temper allowed the agents to lure him out of position and disable his suit's protection, resulting in his death.
Gameplay[]
- Boomer's strength makes him deadly at close range. Stay out of his reach at all costs.
- His armor is fitted with experimental tech that has to be dealt with to have any chance of defeating him.
- The Black Tusk have developed a defensive system that can suppress all damage - keep it deactivated as a priority.
Boomer is the first encounter of Operation Dark Hours, and is initially immune to all forms of damage. Unlike a normal Black Tusk Tank, Boomer's minigun lacks an ammo belt and thus cannot be disabled. In addition, he can swing the weapon in a wide arc as a melee attack and throw EMP Grenades, disrupting agents' Skills.
Boomer's invulnerability can only be briefly disabled by shooting the red section of his backpack using one of two turret emplacements located on two corners of the terminal. To do so, he must first be lured in front of a turret by attacking him, which will draw his attention towards a particular agent (indicated by a pulsing red eye icon) and cause him to pursue them around the arena. Various Black Tusk reinforcements will also attempt to destroy the emplacements; if both turrets are destroyed, the mission will end in failure.
After sustaining damage, Boomer will periodically attempt to heal using the red self-repair module on his chest, which will glow yellow, then green; this can be prevented by inflicting enough damage to the module before it activates.
There is a hidden time limit of ten (10) minutes to his encounter; if agents have not yet defeated Boomer by then, he will destroy both turrets, causing an instant mission failure.
