Do not let them through! Take out the tank! Send them to hell!
- Moss

Moss was a Cleaner officer working alongside Wright and The Lovebirds during the events of Paradise Lost. He serves as the first named boss in the Incursion.

History[]

Moss was present during the Cleaner raid on the Meret Estate and held some amount of authority over some of the other Cleaners, though he was likely subordinate to the Lovebirds and Wright.

After a team of Division agents breached the Meret Estate defenses, they came across a Cleaner fuel tanker parked outside the Meret Estate's entrance alongside the corpse of a Division Agent (possibly that of Agent Barker). When the agents went to investigate, the Cleaners launched an ambush.

Part way through, Moss is first heard on the radio giving the order for the Cleaners to not let the Division agents through, before ordering them to target out the fuel tanker, which would kill the agents and likely most of the Cleaners as well. Cleaner Snipers and Tanks with miniguns appear soon after, followed by a wave of rogue Striker Drones, each designated with a letter in the word "Lovebird".

Once the agents had finished off the rest of the Cleaners and the rogue striker drones, they made their way to the entrance, where Moss made his appearance in one last desperate attempt to destroy the tank and kill the agents. However, he was killed before he could do so and the agents proceeded into the estate.

Abilities[]

  • Like most of the other Cleaner Tanks in his section, Moss is equipped with heavy armor and a minigun instead of a flamethrower. As Moss appears directly in the doorway and will instantly begin targeting the tanker directly in front of him, in addition to Moss dealing more damage than the other Tanks, Agents should make an effort to block or obstruct him, as even one prolonged burst from his minigun will be enough to blow the tanker if it has low health.

Trivia[]

  • According to his death quote, Moss played with matches as a kid.
