Nemesis is an Exotic Marksman Rifle in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.

This weapon features the Talent Electromagnetic Accelerator. It was added to the game in Title Update 2.

This weapon can only be crafted using its Blueprint at a Crafting Station after acquiring its component parts from the Named SR-1 variant, Adrestia, and from Named Black Tusk bosses across various Invaded Missions in Washington, D.C..

Only one copy of this weapon can be obtained in the Inventory or Stash at any time.

History[]

While the Nemesis does not have any real life counterpart, it most closely resembles an Accuracy International Arctic Warfare in an AICS 2.0 pistol grip chassis with an AX50 stock. Its rail is similar to a CADEX Defense AI Fore-End Rail, and its foregrip resembles a Magpul AFG-2.

Usage[]

The Nemesis is a high damage, low-rate of fire Marksman Rifle, surpassing even the Bolt-Action M700, M44, SR-1, and SRS. However, due to the nature of its weapon talents, players can't deal that damage with just pressing the fire button. The rifle also can not be hip-fired, encouraging more long-range precision.

Players must hold down the trigger to "charge" up the shot to be able to deal max damage to their enemies. They can also mark their targets to be able to deal additional damage to the enemy.

As a result, the Nemesis is for long-range slow but deadly takedowns, where Agents stalk the target and wait for the right moment to deal a highly devastating shot.

Acquisition[]

Players must first complete Tidal Basin on Story difficulty. On subsequent play-throughs, players can obtain the parts to craft Nemesis.

Marksman Rifle: Scope - The Tally[]

Klutz, Shorty, Prime - Picked up the weapon. Keep your eyes open for the upgrades we talked about.
- Description

The scope part The Tally, must be obtained in Tidal Basin. Obtaining it must be done first in order to obtain the other three, as they will not spawn otherwise.

The players must first pick up a Black Tusk keycard in the Comms Area building on the second floor, relatively early on in the mission. From there, proceed with the mission until the Agents reach the hovercraft. From there, a door can be opened up in the room before heading towards the upper decks, which contains a weapons case. In that case will contain a High-end Named SR-1, called Adrestia.

Once players have obtain the weapon, they must deconstruct Adrestia in order to get the exotic component. The part will describe three named enemies, each from an Invaded Stronghold. From there, players must kill the named enemies during the weekly Invaded rotation.

Marksman Rifle: Stock - The Bridle[]

Unfortunate that I never joined a band. I've got great timing and precision, and everyone knows I've got great fingers for instruments.
- Klutz

To obtain the stock part The Bridle, players must kill the named enemy Aurora "Klutz" Kay from the Invaded Stronghold District Union Arena.

Marksman Rifle: Bolt - The Scales[]

Can't win 'em all? Never really liked that phrase. You really can, all it takes is perseverance, drive and grit. Oh and occasionally cheating.
- Shorty

To obtain the bolt part The Scales, players must kill the named enemy Erin "Shorty" Linwood from the Invaded Stronghold Roosevelt Island.

Marksman Rifle: Barrel - The Scourge[]

Kings can be dethroned, generals defeated, politicians bribed, and priests corrupted. But war... war is eternal, and I am a warrior.
- Prime

To obtain the barrel part The Scourge, players must kill the named enemy David "Prime" Maxwell from the Invaded Stronghold Capitol Building. It can also be dropped as a mission reward from the Invaded Manning National Zoo on the hard or above difficulty.

Puck's Nemesis Blueprint[]

I do not seek permission for acts of retribution. I simply perform, and if required, ask forgiveness. I truly honor the spawn of Nyx.
- Puck

To obtain the blueprint, players must kill the named enemy Phaedra "Puck" Lao from the Invaded Mission Grand Washington Hotel. Puck is the first named enemy of the mission, located in the hotel lobby. Players do not need to complete the entire mission to obtain the blueprint, and can quit once they acquired the blueprint.

After acquiring the components and blueprints, players can craft Nemesis from the Crafting Station. Crafting requires Credits 990, 35 Polycarbonate, 25 Carbon Fiber, and 82 Receiver Components in addition to the previous parts.
