Nemesis is an Exotic Marksman Rifle in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.

This weapon features the Talent Electromagnetic Accelerator. It was added to the game in Title Update 2.

This weapon can only be crafted using its Blueprint at a Crafting Station after acquiring its component parts from the Named SR-1 variant, Adrestia, and from Named Black Tusk bosses across various Invaded Missions in Washington, D.C..

Only one copy of this weapon can be obtained in the Inventory or Stash at any time.

History[]

While the Nemesis does not have any real life counterpart, it most closely resembles an Accuracy International Arctic Warfare in an AICS 2.0 pistol grip chassis with an AX50 stock. Its rail is similar to a CADEX Defense AI Fore-End Rail, and its foregrip resembles a Magpul AFG-2.

Usage[]

The Nemesis is a high damage, low-rate of fire Marksman Rifle, surpassing even the Bolt-Action M700, M44, SR-1, and SRS. However, due to the nature of its weapon talents, players can't deal that damage with just pressing the fire button. The rifle also can not be hip-fired, encouraging more long-range precision.

Players must hold down the trigger to "charge" up the shot to be able to deal max damage to their enemies. They can also mark their targets to be able to deal additional damage to the enemy.

As a result, the Nemesis is for long-range slow but deadly takedowns, where Agents stalk the target and wait for the right moment to deal a highly devastating shot.

Crafting Nemesis costs:

  • 990 E-Credits:
  • 1 Marksman Rifle: Scope - The Tally
  • 1 Marksman Rifle: Stock - The Bridle
  • 1 Marksman Rifle: Bolt - The Scales
  • 1 Marksman Rifle: Barrel - The Scourge
  • 35 Polycarbonate
  • 25 Carbon Fiber
  • 82 Receiver Components

In addition to its Blueprint, crafting Nemesis requires four (4) Exotic Components: Marksman Rifle: Scope - The Tally, Marksman Rifle: Stock - The Bridle, Marksman Rifle: Bolt - The Scales, and Marksman Rifle: Barrel - The Scourge.

After acquiring the first Component from the Stronghold Tidal Basin, the rest can be obtained from Named Black Tusk bosses in various Invaded Missions or Invaded Strongholds across Washington, D.C.. Note that only three random Main Missions and one Stronghold become Invaded each week, so agents may need to wait several weeks to confront the next Named boss and claim their Exotic Component.

Marksman Rifle: Scope - The Tally[]

To obtain the first Component, Marksman Rifle: Scope - The Tally, agents must first complete the Stronghold Tidal Basin on Story difficulty. This Component must be obtained first, or else the other three will not drop from their associated Named bosses.

The hidden room containing Adrestia

On subsequent playthroughs, agents will find a Black Tusk Keycard on the second floor of the Comms Area building early in the mission.

Later, after entering the Black Tusk hovercraft, the keycard can be used to open a locked door inside the control room, prior to heading outside towards the upper decks to confront Milla "Wyvern" Radek.

Behind the unlocked door is a weapon chest, containing a High-end Named SR-1, called Adrestia. Deconstructing the weapon will yield the first Component, Marksman Rifle: Scope - The Tally, with the following note:

Description

Klutz, Shorty, Prime -

Picked up the weapon. Keep your eyes open for the upgrades we talked about.

After obtaining this Component, the subsequent ones can be obtained in any order.

Marksman Rifle: Stock - The Bridle[]

The second Component, Marksman Rifle: Stock - The Bridle, is dropped by Aurora "Klutz" Kay from the Stronghold District Union Arena (Invaded). which reads:

Description

Unfortunate that I never joined a band. I've got great timing and precision, and everyone knows I've got great fingers for instruments.

- Klutz

Marksman Rifle: Bolt - The Scales[]

To obtain the third Component, Marksman Rifle: Bolt - The Scales, players must kill Erin "Shorty" Linwood in the Stronghold Roosevelt Island (Invaded).

Description

Can't win 'em all? Never really liked that phrase. You really can, all it takes is perseverance, drive and grit. Oh and occasionally cheating.

- Shorty

Marksman Rifle: Barrel - The Scourge[]

The fourth Component, Marksman Rifle: Barrel - The Scourge, can be obtained from David "Prime" Maxwell from the Stronghold Capitol Building (Invaded). It can also be obtained as a Mission reward from Manning National Zoo (Invaded) on Hard difficulty or above.

Description

Kings can be dethroned, generals defeated, politicians bribed, and priests corrupted. But war... war is eternal, and I am a warrior.

- Prime

Puck's Nemesis Blueprint[]

To obtain Puck's Nemesis Blueprint, players must kill Phaedra "Puck" Lao, one of three Named bosses from Grand Washington Hotel (Invaded). Note that the Mission does not need to be completed in its entirety, and can be aborted once the Blueprint is acquired.

Description

I do not seek permission for acts of retribution. I simply perform, and if required, ask forgiveness. I truly honor the spawn of Nyx.

- Puck

Afterwards, Nemesis can be crafted at any Crafting Station.
