Operation ISAC was a series of YouTube videos by Ubisoft that gave out assignments to the players of Tom Clancy's The Division.
Description[]
Players were given limited-time objectives to achieve, completing which will earn them specific rewards. The storyline of the missions was only shown through a series of YouTube videos. The teaser trailer was published on April 5, 2016 with the first mission transmission being released a week later.
The YouTube video series and the mission assignments were usually given out every week after the previous ones except the final more which was released after a gap of more than six months.
The first two assignments were given every Tuesday, but this was later changed to Thursday. Since the 7th transmission, players received vanity items and High-End Division Tech Materials in place of 
Phoenix Credits for completing the missions.
Storyline[]
In the 1st transmission, Agent Simon Keyes requests Second Wave Division agents after he noticed that someone was trying to take control of the Intelligent System Analytic Computer (ISAC) data node of New York City, used for secure communication by Strategic Homeland Division, after Agent St. Clair told him that someone is after him and the node while she was abducted by an unknown man. He sends Division agents to rescue her Joint Task Force (JTF) team from an ambush by the Cleaners.
In the 2nd transmission he informs them that he found out the leader of the crew that ambushed St. Clair's team is called "Asher" and they had seized a Division weapons shipment from them, he also realizes that Asher had the same gun that was being transported by St. Clair's team.
In the 3rd transmission, the ISAC node experiences a hacking attack and Simon tasks the agents with finding tools and hardware to prevent his location from being traced.
In the 4th transmission, Simon states that while he did stop the attack, Asher has given out bounties on the heads of Division agents. He tells them to take out the leaders of the criminal factions, so they contact him for help, and he can track their communications.
In the 5th transmission, he informs the agents that the Last Man Battalion (LMB) has seized an SHD-XT47 computer that can help them track the node's location. He tasks them with retrieving it from the Dark Zone. They fail and in the 6th transmission he agrees to a deal with the black-market dealer Esmay to provide a Smart Watch and some pieces of fabric in exchange for anti-tracking hardware.
Esmay is however ambushed while on her way to deliver the hardware in the 7th transmission, and he tasks the agents to rescue her. They do so, and he is able to install the anti-tracking hardware. In the next one, he tasks the agents to help Agent Rainer, who contacts saying SHD detected software modifications in the node and offers him any help he needs. Simon tasks the agents to help him fight through the N.Y.C. Dark Zone.
In the 9th transmission, Simon makes a deal with Esmay for information on Asher in exchange for retrieving a set of documents from the train yards guarded by Rikers. Asher hacks Division communication lines in the next one and calls on the agents to defect, offering them control of New York. Simon locks him out and tasks agents with killing the Cleaners, so he can set up relay comms to secure the communications.
In the 11th transmission, Rainer informs Simon that he has tracked down Asher to a facility where he is using a transmitter to hijack Division broadcasts. Simon tasks the agents in assisting Rainer to gain access to the heavily-guarded site.
In the 12th transmission, Rainer states that while he destroyed the transmitter, Asher escaped, and they make a deal to help with Esmay to clear a neighborhood from Rikers in exchange for information on Asher from a resident who had dealings with him in the past. The informant is however killed by Asher before he can meet them in the next transmission and Rainer tasks the agents with clearing the area around the informant's apartment of the Last Man Battalion, so he can search for anything useful.
In the 14th transmission, Rainer informs Simon that Asher has put out a bounty on Esmay who flees to the Dark Zone after being informed about it. Simon tasks the agents with protecting her and killing Asher if he comes for her personally. She is ambushed and flees, however gets badly wounded. In the next one, she asks Simon to save her. He tasks the agents with finding supplies to save her while personally finding her.
Simon brings Esmay to the node base and gets informed by Rainer in the 16th transmission that he knows Asher is Webb, also saying he's been only spotted in the same location of the Dark Zone. Simon tasks the agents to help him fight through the area, so he can track down Asher. In the next one, Simon informs him that Asher has put out a bounty on him ad he tasks the agents in clearing the leaders of the factions in the Dark Zones, so he can go into hiding.
In the 18th transmission, Esmay states that she dislikes The Division because she was prevented from being at the side of her dying mother. Rainer tasks the agents in clearing out a location which he says is where Asher's hiding. In the next one, Simon states that Asher is still alive. Rainer states the factions are trying to take over the Underground tunnels. He also informs that Alex is also there and agrees to find her. He asks for assistance from the agents in clearing the area where she is.
Rainer informs Simon and Esmay in the 20th transmission that he found Alex and Esmay wants to get out of New York with her. Simon tasks the agents with clearing the Rikers threatening helicopter transports. However, he finds out by the next transmission that they were never evacuated and concludes Rainer was behind it. Rainer admits it and that he is "Asher", threatening to kill them both if he tries to stop him while telling the agents he ordered the Last Man Battalion to kill civilians.
By the 22nd transmission, Rainer tracks down the ISAC node's location with Esmay's help and threatens to kill her if he isn't given access into ISAC. Simon however stalls him and has Alex rescued. In the last transmission, Rainer finds out what Simon is doing and threatens him again. However, Esmay escapes after a melee between him and Simon who is badly wounded.
Simon tasks the agents with killing Rainer and Esmay saves him from bleeding out. He has a reward delivered to the base of the agents after they kill Rainer.
