Pentco Fairview Power Plant is a power plant set in the outskirts of Washington, D.C and is the setting for Countdown game mode.
Events of Tom Clancy's The Division 2[]
After the events of Jefferson Trade Center during the True Sons' resurgence in Washington, D.C, General Peter Anderson believed that his faction wouldn't be able to take on both The Division and Black Tusk. Therefore, he decided to rebuild the alliance with Black Tusk that was once diminished in the wake of Linette "Dusk" Edwards' death.
However, a number of True Sons including Captain Fred Lewis and Candice Wallace didn't see any benefit to this, and decided to aid the Division to try and undermine the alliance between True Sons and Black Tusk by eliminating Anderson's lieutenants, as well as Anderson if need be.
Unfortunately, Captain Lewis' mutiny was discovered and he was sent and imprisoned at Pentco Fairview Power Plant. A dozen of True Sons mutineers were also captured and executed.
The Division sent agents to the power plant to rescue Lewis and eliminate General Anderson. However, they had 25 minutes before Black Tusk's fleet of hovercrafts' arrival to the plant, so they prioritized on rescuing Lewis and eliminating Anderson's escort: Nico "Brain" McPherson and Hank "Bough" Bibichev. The agents and Captain Lewis were extracted by JTF Pilot Torres while Anderson was escorted to a hovercraft, solidifying the rebuilt alliance between his True Sons and Black Tusk.
Due to the extensive damage that the Power Plant had sustained in the past, it went out of commission, causing rolling backouts across the Eastern region of the U.S, especially on New York.
