The SVD is a Marksman Rifle in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
The Paratrooper SVD, Surplus SVD, and the Named variant Commando can be obtained from enemies, vendors, weapon chests, Sealed Caches, and any area/mission with Marksman Rifles as targeted loot.
The Exotic variant Dread Edict can be obtained from enemies, weapon chests, Exotic Caches, and any area/mission with Marksman Rifles as targeted loot.
Replicas of the Named variant Commando can be crafted using its 
Blueprint, which can only be obtained from Reconstructed Caches purchased with 
NSA Tech from NSA Stations.

The SVD was developed in the Soviet Union to serve for a squad support role for precise long-range engagements following the Warsaw Pact adoption of 7.62X39mm as standard weaponry for infantry. Since its deployment in 1963, the SVD has become a standard support weapon for several countries, including those in the former Warsaw Pact.

Surplus SVD[]
A Cold War favorite, the SVD provides fast and precise support fire. It is used by Veteran/Elite Cleaners Snipers, Hyena Snipers, and Hyena Council member Coyote.
Paratrooper SVD[]
A modernized SVD variant with a synthetic stock and forend for higher Stability. It is used by B.T.S.U. Leader Bardon Schaeffer.
