Safety Distance is a High-End Submachine Gun in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
It is a Named variant of the SIG MPX, featuring the Talent Perfect Outsider and unique Mudbank Skin. It was added to the game in Title Update 6.
This weapon can be obtained from enemies, vendors, weapon chests, Sealed Caches, and any area/mission with Submachine Guns as targeted loot. It has an increased drop chance from the Stronghold Capitol Building.
Usage[]
Perfect Outsider addresses one of the riskiest aspects of using Submachine Guns - closing the gap with a target. After a kill, Safety Distance gains greater accuracy and decreased damage falloff, allowing its user to reliably hit scattering foes from the safety of cover instead of chasing them down.
This weapon is suited for agents favoring slower-firing Rifles or Marksman Rifles, and need a backup gun for engagements too close for sniping. On the other hand, some of the best in-game equipment, such as the Memento Backpack or Hunter's Fury Gear Set, require users to be within sneezing distance anyway, so those who favor aggressive play will barely notice Safety Distance's aiming bonus.
