“ Yeah. That's where I live. - Samson "Fringe" Baker”
Samson "Fringe" Baker is a Black Tusk operative and one of two named bosses in Invaded Space Administration HQ, alongside August "Lumpy" Lee.
The co-commander of the Black Tusk unit deployed to the HQ, "Fringe" was to hack into and presumably disable the SHD Network's connection with Division satellite network the agents had previously activated.
Before he could do so, The Division breached the facility, stopped the malicious download, and killed "Fringe" and "Lumpy", along with their forces.
Abilities[]
Fringe is a unique Black Tusk Sniper equipped with a SOCOM Mk20 SSR. In close quarters, he switches to a 93R.
Trivia[]
- Interestingly, Fringe has no combat voice lines when you fight him. This more than likely because he is a male, and the Black Tusk Sniper Class is almost always occupied by females. Petrus Brenner is the only other known male Black Tusk Sniper, however, he has combat voices lines, but this is probably because his are unique for him.
- Fringe is defined as "the border or outer edges of an area or group".
- "Fringe" and "Lumpy" was supposed to be accompanied by a third named boss Corbin "Nebula" Randolf. But despite being listed in the mission description, he is nowhere to be found in the level. The same can be seen in another level, Invaded Lincoln Memorial, where the two bosses "Marx" and "Oldman" were supposed to have a third boss "Engles", yet they are nowhere to be found either.
