“ Hostile blockade nearby. - ISAC”
Settlement Blockades are hostile Encounter missions in Tom Clancy's The Division 2. Exclusively performed by the Black Tusk, they are developed to try to curb the help the Strategic Homeland Division gets from the Civilian Militia, and vise versa.
Locations[]
Settlement Blockades can only appear in Washington D.C. sectors that are invaded and either contain the settlements or border the settlements.
They also appear on streets adjacent to the settlements or on streets that are commonly used by Militia soldiers.
Restrictions[]
As long as a settlement is under a blockade, an Division agent can not:
- Use the settlement as a respawn point.
- Fast travel in or out of the settlement.
- Can not call for backup when attacking a control point from that settlement or any control points controlled by it.
Likewise, a settlement cannot:
- Automatically send out any attacking soldiers to control points.
- Can not send out or receive Supply Convoys.
After the agent arrives at the Blockade location, they will see the first B.T.S.U. squad, consisting about four to five soldiers, all of which are normal (except for the occasional Warhound). After eliminating them, the agent must proceed to the top of the blockade truck and tap ISAC into a signal scrambler to breach the system.
After ISAC has been tapped in and the breach has started, the agent must stay within range of the signal scrambler. During this, endless waves of B.T.S.U. soldiers will spawn in not far from the blockade's position; once again, all of them would be normal (aside from an occasional Warhound or Heavy).
After the breach has been successful and the remaining B.T.S.U. wave has been finished off, the Black Tusk will send a Black Hawk helicopter as a last ditch attempt to reinstate the blockade; this consists of two elites and one normal/veteran enemy. Once they are eliminated, the blockade will be lifted and the settlement will be reopened.
