There is a new Rogue Agent cell to take down. Intel suggests that this cell is mobilizing and planning an attack in D.C.

Shadow Tide is the first season in Tom Clancy's The Division 2. It is made up of the Jupiter Manhunt, 4 leagues, 3 global events, and the Urban Jungle apparel event. This season also has a rewards track that gives rewards based off of an agent's Season Level. Unique to this season, the premium track has been given out for free to all players.

This Season will introduce the EMP Sticky Bomb skill mod as the reward for taking down all five seasonal Manhunt targets. Additionally, there will be new exotics, new gear sets, and more throughout the season.

Manhunt overview[]

The Jupiter Manhunt consists of locating and killing the rogue agents Neptune, Venus, Saturn, Mercury, and the prime target, Jupiter. This manhunt takes agents across Washington, D.C., Lower Manhattan, and has them return to Roosevelt Island as well. The prime target mission brings agents back to an altered version of the Roosevelt Island stronghold, this time taken over by the Cleaners.

Manhunt Storyline[]

In the immediate aftermath in Warlords of New York and the activation of the Rogue Network, a cell led by Molly "Jupiter" Henderson was revealed, with their own plans to take down the Division and get rid of the Green Poison. In order to locate Jupiter, Division agents focused on eliminating her four lieutenants: Chadwick "Neptune" Brandon III, Lucy "Venus" Anders, Mary "Saturn" Masters, and Ryan "Mercury" Chang.

While the lieutenants were majorly located and eliminated in Washington, D.C, Saturn was in Lower Manhattan as Jupiter needed her to maintain the safehouse over there. Nevertheless, Saturn was found and eliminated by the agents.

After they were eliminated, Jupiter was located in Roosevelt Island which was taken over by Cleaners, who came in via a boat as backup. As Division agents fought through the former Outcasts stronghold, they discovered EMP jammers implanted with Conley's modifiers. It'd turn out that Jupiter and her cell intended to distribute the jammers across the capitol to disrupt the agents' SHD Tech, and eliminate them while vulnerable.

As such, Division agents mowed their way against the Cleaners and destroyed any EMP jammers they found in the island, disrupting Jupiter's plans. Eventually, they confronted Jupiter in her boat. And despite her defiance and her Cleaner backups, she was taken down by the agents, who also recovered the EMP variant of the Sticky Bomb.

While the comms that were recovered wasn't mostly relevant in the long run, it was established that Jupiter's cell were given Eclipse Virus as a gift from Aaron Keener, which Jupiter ordered Saturn to destroy them safely. While Jupiter was aligned with Keener's agenda in "destroying" the Division, she didn't see the Eclipse as a viable method since she believed that cleaning the capitol from Green Poison by any means necessary was more important.

Of course, with Jupiter and her cell off the board, a new Rogue cell would arrive with their own supply of Eclipse Virus.
