Trivia[]
- This item's name and flavor text are references to St. Elmo's fire, or 'witchfire', a natural phenomenon whereby a rod-like object emits a corona discharge, creating forks of visible plasma.
- If another agent in one's party uses Ongoing Directive, the Hollow-Point Ammo will override The St. Elmo's Engine's Shock Ammo.
- So far, St. Elmo's Engine is the only assault rifle in Tom Clancy's The Division 2 that has a magazine of 70+1 rounds, whereas a lot of ARs in the game has a max magazine of 50+1 rounds, with certain exceptions like FAL with 40+1 rounds, or Shield Splinterer with 60+1 rounds.
