Subway Morgues in Manhattan[]
The Subway Morgues were one of the ways the JTF and The Division disposed of bodies before the Dark Zone became what it was. Soon after the mass graves in Central Park and other parts of Manhattan (Clinton De Witt, Madison Square, etc.), the JTF started to store them in the subways due to the fact that they could easily be closed off from the outside. During the mission Subway Morgue, a squad of Division agents must go into one of these storage areas to save Paul Rhodes from the many Cleaners trying to burn out the bodies of deceased infectees.

- It is unknown if this is happening to the other morgues in Manhattan, but due to the large Cleaners presence in the subways of the Dark Zone, it can be assumed they are trying to accomplish the same goal.
