Sweet Dreams is an Exotic Shotgun in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
It is an Exotic variant of the SPAS-12, featuring the Talent Sandman.
Functionally, it is identical to the Exotic Shotgun Lullaby, and can be converted into that weapon at a Crafting Station using a Blueprint.
This weapon can be obtained from enemies, weapon chests, Exotic Caches, and any area/mission with Shotguns as targeted loot. It has an increased drop chance from Named Outcast bosses.
Usage[]
Despite its Exotic rarity, Sweet Dreams is arguably inferior to a stock SPAS-12 in terms of conventional firepower, since its Sandman Talent doesn't affect the gun's raw damage. Instead, its utility lies in the ability to instantly eliminate protected foes like Shield or Heavy Weapons units, who'd otherwise take considerable time and ammunition to bring down. Just be aware that Sandman does not affect mechanical units like Warhounds or Mini Tanks, which will require conventional means to take down.
To that end, it's best paired with a Crusader Shield or other defensive Skill that allows agents to safely close in and land a melee strike. Killing an enemy this way also shatters their destructible armor (such as shields or helmets), leaving them vulnerable if they are revived by a Medic or during the Reanimated Global Event.
