The White Death is a High-End Marksman Rifle in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
It is a Named variant of the Classic M44 Carbine, featuring additional Headshot Damage. It was added to the game in Title Update 8, as part of the Warlords of New York expansion.
This weapon can be obtained from enemies, vendors, weapon chests, Sealed Caches, and any area/mission with Marksman Rifles as targeted loot. It has an increased drop chance from the Strongholds Roosevelt Island and Manning National Zoo.
Replicas of this weapon can be crafted using its 
Blueprint, which can only be obtained from Reconstructed Caches purchased with 
NSA Tech from NSA Stations.

- This item's name and flavor text are references to Simo Häyhä, a legendary Finnish military sniper who reportedly killed over 500 enemy soldiers during Word War II, earning him the nickname 'The White Death'.
- According to historical records, Häyhä actually used a Mosin-Nagant M28-30, not an M44 Carbine.
