Tom Clancy's The Division: New York Collapse is a novel released by Ubisoft and written by Alex Irving. The book details the actions of April Kelleher, a woman who is in New York City at the time of the pandemic.
The book has three different styles in it. First, we have printed words, which are the survival guide's actual text. This is what April would have been reading. Next, we have the words in black ink. The black ink is April's first impressions of the book, but these will change over time. Finally, there is the blue ink. The blue ink is also April, but at a later point where she starts to make connections between the book and recent events. Whether these are true or not is up for debate. There are other styles in the book, but they are all April at varying points in time.
