Unknown network ping coming from Haven.
Synopsis[]
After waking up from their "shock therapy", the agent returns to Haven. There, they receive a ping from ISAC telling them an unauthorized network access has been detected from a terminal in the lower level.
They open the terminal, getting a recorded message from Aaron Keener meant for them. He starts by saying he knows what the agent is thinking: the first wave's prodigal son has returned, then tells them that he knows deep down, they get it. And asks them if they still believe in the Division, Cal's Division, after everything they went through and seen. He admits that he misjudged them as well as misjudged Faye Lau, then says that Lau eventually came around and hopes the agent will do the same, arguing that the more they know, the more they'd realize that he was right. He believes that he and the agent are the same, that they're survivors
Keener provokes the agent, asking them who has earned the right to tell them what to do. He asks them how many good people need to die for the ''brass'' to survive. And how many more people need to die so Natalya Sokolova can have her empire. He's aware that the agent signed on to save what remains, then argues that what remains isn't worth saving if all it does is killing them faster.
He taunts the agent regarding that they thought they got him in Liberty Island and listened to ISAC declaring Agent Deceased. He says that the identification was never confirmed, thereby implying that when they killed Keener, it was a decoy. Keener tells them that the little perfomance he and Theo Parnell did was enough to convince the powers like the Division and Black Tusk that they were gone, allowing Faye Lau to infilitrate Black Tusk, while he and Parnell could continue their work.
Keener manipulates the agent, saying if they're wondering they're doing the right thing and staying the course. He tells them that he has a haven at the other side and wants to build a bridge with them. And with Agent Kelso partnering with him and ''seeing the light'', he hopes that the agent will do the same.
He ends the message, saying he'll see them soon. Afterwards, the unauthorized network access is cut off.
