The Urban MDR is a Rifle in Tom Clancy's The Division 2. Unlike in Tom Clancy's The Division, it is no longer of Exotic rarity.
The Urban MDR can be obtained from enemies, vendors, weapon chests, Sealed Caches, and any area/mission with Rifles as targeted loot.
The Exotic variant Vindicator can be purchased from NSA Stations for 350 
NSA Tech.
Replicas of the Urban MDR can be crafted using its 
Blueprint, which can be acquired from Projects, Summit Challenges, or Control Points of Alert Level 3 or higher.
History[]
Its real name is the Desert Tech MDR (short for Micro Dynamics Rifle), designed by Desert Tech itself. Its first version debuted in 2014's Shot Show. It is designed to be ambidextrous, allowing it to be wielded by right hand or left hand. While the MDR does primarily fire 7.62 rounds, it does fire in different cartridges like 5.56, .450, and even 6.5.
By January 18, 2024, the first version was discontinued as the MDRx; a second generation version of the rifle took over.
